The Role
 As our school continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reflective Assistant Headteacher for SEND to drive the strategic direction of SEND across Cranbourne. Whether you are an aspiring leader or an experienced senior leader, this is an opportunity to make a real difference in an environment that values teamwork, creativity, and student success.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A passion for SEND and a commitment to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive strategic improvements in SEND provision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, students, and parents.
  • The ability to manage resources effectively, including staff, space, and funding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight for SEND across the school, including our Resourced Provision for Dyslexia.
  • Work closely with our SENDCo, Deputy SENDCo and the Head of Resourced Provision.
  • Lead a dedicated team of Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs).
  • Foster strong partnerships with parents to ensure a child-centred approach to decision-making.
