Assistant Headteacher required from September 2025 - Maternity Cover Full Time Fixed Term Contract

Job Introduction

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated leader to join our school team as an Assistant Headteacher and Key Stage Two Lead. 

 

Hawley Primary School is a happy school, where our committed staff promote independence, creativity and enthusiasm for learning in our eager and friendly children. I am looking forward to welcoming an excellent teacher to play an active part in furthering the exciting developments in our school.

 

We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates:      

  • Outstanding classroom practitioner with experience working in Key Stage Two
  • Inspirational and effective leadership skills with the confidence to implement and develop whole school initiatives
  • A positive attitude and the ability to successfully lead a team
  • An understanding of how to provide a creative and inspiring learning environment, with a curriculum that meets the needs of all children
  • High expectations of children’s learning attitudes and behaviour across the school
  • Someone who is creative, friendly and brings joy to our school
