Job Introduction
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and dedicated individual to join our Pastoral Team in the role of Behaviour Support Assistant. The main focus of this position is to provide support to the Student Inclusion Unit (SIU) Supervisor with the day-to-day operations of the SIU. Key responsibilities involve overseeing students participating in online learning activities, ensuring the timely assignment and completion of tasks, reparation work and building resilience to prevent repeat poor behaviours. The role also includes offering support in addressing a range of student concerns, such as behaviour, uniform compliance, emotional well-being, and safeguarding.
We are seeking an individual adept at handling vulnerable students with sensitivity, equipped with prior experience in working with children or young people, and a robust understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a harmonious blend of empathy and firmness, remain composed in challenging situations, have personal resilience and actively contribute to our dedicated Pastoral Team.
