Care and Adult Courses Internal Quality Assurer

We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic person to join our highly successful and inclusive Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be a committed, inspirational and dynamic individual with a passion for maintaining the quality of assessment on the college’s Care and Adult programmes. 

The Internal Quality Assurer role is central to the administration of these programme areas. As an IQA you will oversee the quality of assessment for all levels and qualifications in Care – Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 this will be across both Early Years and Health and Social Care courses. You will need to be occupationally competent in early years and care as some courses have licence to practice status. You will be highly organised, a clear communicator and able to make clear assessment decisions providing clear feedback, to assessors. You will lead meetings with work place assessors once a term, and be able to prepare for and run External Quality Assurance meetings with the awarding body.

Contract: Casual Claims

Salary: £29.36p/h inclusive of holiday pay

Start Date:  September 2025

Closing Date: Friday 29th August 2025

Interview Date: Tuesday 2nd September 2025
