Job Introduction
We are looking for a Caretaker to look after our beautiful school as well as the grounds. If you are a conscientious, motivated, flexible and a reliable team member with good practical skills we would love to hear from you.
As a caretaker at Knightwood you will:
- Understand that the safety of our children is paramount and complete daily site checks so that it remains a safe environment
- Be proactive in the general maintenance, security and cleanliness in the school building and grounds, including general DIY
- Be a key holder and first call for our Security Monitoring Company
- Be happy to take a proactive part at school events as needed (such as helping set up a tidy away at our school fayres)
- Be prepared to attend courses to keep up to date with current practice and to develop professionally
- Be able to communicate professionally with external stakeholders as well as parents, children and staff
Ideally, you will have
- A basic knowledge of Health and Safety
- The ability to use the computer and to send and receive emails.
