Job Introduction
Grade B/C depending on experience (£24,796 – 26,244 fte)
Hours: 15 hours per week 6.30 – 09.30 (52 week). There is some flexibility in the start / end times for this role.
Manor Field Infant School is a warm and friendly school defined by its strong child centred ethos. We are seeking to appoint a dependable, flexible and practical person who takes pride in their work to join our dedicated team, working together to achieve the highest standards possible for the children in our care.
We are looking for someone with a cheerful nature, a sense of humour and a can do attitude who has a range of practical skills to ensure our site provides a welcoming, safe environment for all.
Key duties include:
- Unlocking the school site
- General site and grounds maintenance
- Carrying out minor repairs, routine preventative maintenance & adhoc decorating
- Liasing with maintenance contractors
- Health & Safety checks and record keeping
- Supporting the cleaning team
Whilst this is a 52 week contract, the working pattern can be adapted during the holiday periods. There is also flexibility to take holidays during term time.
