We are seeking a motivated person to join our Leisure Centre Team. Our Leisure facilities serve our students, staff and the local community and include a 3G sports pitch, gymnasium, dance studio, sports hall, tennis courts and sports fields. You will need an understanding of health and safety and first aid knowledge (training will be provided). Ad hoc evening and weekend work to cover for holidays and unplanned absences as well as helping with large events at weekends.
You should have good communication and interpersonal skills, together with a friendly, flexible and professional approach as well as being confident using your own initiative whilst also contributing in a team environment.
You will be responsible for the preparation and support of events, classes and fixtures for activities hosted on site. Other responsibilities include: security of the building and grounds, to be the first point of contact, the safety and wellbeing of customers, ensuring all monies are recorded and accounted for at the end of your shift and some minor site tasks.
You should possess a calm, confident and organised manner.
