Job Introduction
Are you interested in becoming a mini-bus driver for Hounsdown School?
We are looking to further appoint people to drive the school mini bus for sporting fixtures, school trips and visits as required and to add to our bank of drivers. The rate of pay on a casual basis is £14.14 per hour.
The hours per week are variable and dependent on school requirements. You will be notified in advance to confirm your availability. In general sporting fixtures take place after school until approximately 6pm, but there are also full day and short visits to accommodate.
Applicants must be over 25, be an experienced driver and hold a D1 licence. A Midas Certificate is desirable, however if you are interested but don’t have the necessary qualifications we will provide training. During the transport of students and when undertaking this role you will always be accompanied by a member of staff responsible for the supervision of the students.
Hounsdown is an 11-16 Science College which converted to an Academy in August 2011. We are a popular, over-subscribedschool.
