Catering Assistant
20 hours per week, 39 weeks p.a. (term time only)
Grade A Range FTE £23,556 - £23,657 p.a.
Actual salary £10,891 - £10,937 p.a.
(hourly rate: £12.21 - £12.26)
Working hours: 9:30am – 1:30pm Monday to Friday
Required for September 2025
We are seeking to appoint a calm, courteous and highly efficient Catering Assistant to work within a team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, have passion and enthusiasm for preparing and serving great food to students, staff and visitors.
You will also be involved in setting up the dining areas and daily kitchen clean up.
Main duties would include:
- Assisting the Catering manager with baking and/or cooking
- Temperature checks
- Break and Lunch set up
- Serving students, staff and visitors
- Daily kitchen clean up
