Job / Person Summary

We are seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and friendly learning support assistant to join our team. The role will include supporting groups and individuals with a range of needs. Part of your hours will be worked over the lunchtime break to help support with children’s play. We have some movement of current staff within the federation so there is some flexibility regarding whether the roles will be in the infant school or the junior school. 

One role will be fixed term for the year and the other will be maternity cover. Both roles are for 28.75 hours per week, term time only, plus a 1/2 lunch duty every day.

We are looking for two learning support assistant who:

  • Has GCSE grade C equivalent  English and maths
  • Lives our school values every day 
  • Has experience supporting children to flourish in school or another setting
  • Is proactive and able to use their initiative
  • Wants to learn, grow and be part of a team 
  • Understands the importance of safeguarding and the need for confidentiality
