We are excited to be looking for additional Year Group Leaders to be part of our team. We are looking for highly motivated, ambitious and effective teachers to join our school community from September 2026.
Four Lanes is a popular Federation, made up of an Infant and Junior school. Our staff work across the Federation to secure a primary offer for our pupils across their 7 years with us.
The Federation is on an exciting journey and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of building something superb for the children of Chineham, Basingstoke. As a Year Group Leader, you will be responsible and accountable for the Teaching and Learning across your year group of three classes. You will have dedicated leadership team to work alongside our senior leaders to support Federation developments and have a positive impact on many pupils.
This post is open to those on both the Main and Upper Pay Ranges. This post holds a TLR2.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher with commitment and evidence of successfully raising standards for all children;
- Is a reflective practitioner;
- Has high expectations of learners;
- Can evidence their impact on improving teaching and learning, across more than one class or year group (including beyond their own practice);
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner;
- Demonstrates a commitment to pupils’ development and pastoral care;
- Has a minimum of four years teaching experience using the National Curriculum;
- Understands the importance of high expectations and standards, to secure strong pupil outcomes;
- Has a good sense of humour;
- and is highly motivated and organised.
