Do you have experience working with pupils with severe and complex needs or a genuine passion to develop your expertise in this specialist field? We are seeking dedicated, reflective and highly nurturing class teachers specialising in severe and complex learning needs to join our outstanding teaching team. You will be skilled in primary and/or secondary teaching and have an appreciation of – or willingness to learn about – the unique communication styles, sensory needs and strengths of pupils with SLD. You will develop and deliver highly personalised, engaging and multi-sensory learning experiences that inspire engagement and progress, working closely with a team of skilled professionals including therapists and experienced support staff.
Dove House Academy is a successful and highly regarded special school in Basingstoke, for students with learning difficulties and autism, aged between 11-19.
