Join Our Growing Team as a KS2 Teacher
We are an ambitious and forward‑thinking school on an exciting journey of transformation, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced KS2 teacher to join us as we continue to raise standards and enrich the learning experience for every child. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to make a real impact in a supportive environment where innovation, collaboration, and professional growth will be genuinely valued and nurtured.
As part of our team, you will play a key role in modelling and embedding our values every day—helping children to be ready to learn, respectful of themselves and others, and safe in their environment and choices.
We can offer the successful candidate:
- A school that is on the up where you will be well supported in your role by an experienced Senior Leadership Team
- A strong culture of professional development, with access to high‑quality CPD, coaching, and clear pathways for career progression.
- Consistent school systems that are being embedded to ensuring that every child succeeds.
- Extensive and beautiful grounds which provide stimulating outdoor learning environments including a reading area, play trail, pond and woodland
- The chance to be part of a transformational school journey as an instrumental member of the team
We are looking for:
- A KS2 teacher with experience of teaching in either upper or lower KS2
- A strong track record of excellent classroom practice and experience in leading a core subject across the school
- High expectations for pupil achievement pastorally and academically
- Strong, positive behaviour management
- A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Experience in monitoring and tracking pupil progress using data to inform teaching, and identify gaps in learning
- Able to support whole-school improvement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school development
- A well-organised practitioner, with the ability to prioritise and manage their workload efficiently
- Experience and enthusiasm about supporting pupils in their first/final year of junior education and confidence in preparing them for transition from Infant/to Secondary school would be beneficial but not essential
If you are inspirational, reflective, and committed to helping children achieve their very best within a Ready, Respectful, Safe values driven school community, we would be delighted to hear from you. To arrange a visit please email adminoffice@shakespeare-jun.hants.sch.uk
