At Ropley CE Primary School, our Christian values sit at the heart of everything we do. We are a school built on love, with high aspirations for every child, and we are seeking a teacher who fully embraces this vision.
We provide a rich, engaging and well-designed curriculum, enhanced by our unique learning environments and extensive facilities. The school has its own swimming pool, astro turf pitch, vibrant library as well as sets of touch screen laptops. Our curriculum motivates and excites children while equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and personal qualities they need to flourish now and in the future. We are a unique village school because we are one-form entry with a PAN of 25 children for each year. As a result of our smaller than average class sizes, we are oversubscribed.
The Role
We are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic class teacher to join our committed and supportive team. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers (M1–M6) and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
The successful candidate will:
- Be responsible for the learning, progress and achievement of all pupils in their class, ensuring equality of opportunity for all
- Set and uphold the highest standards of work, behaviour and conduct
- Build positive relationships with pupils, rooted in respect and trust, while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Work proactively and collaboratively with pupils, parents/carers, governors, colleagues and external professionals
- Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people at all times
