Job Introduction

Welcome to Osborne School

Osborne School provides outstanding education for young people aged 11 to 19 with a range of learning, communication and physical needs, from moderate to severe. We are committed to helping every student achieve their full potential in a supportive, inclusive and nurturing environment.

Our school offers a high-quality education within a caring atmosphere, supported by attractive, well-resourced facilities designed to meet the diverse needs of our learners. In September 2019, we expanded our provision with the opening of a specialist satellite provision based at Kings' School, Winchester. Staff may be required to work across both sites as part of their role.

As an employer, Osborne School is proud to offer exciting opportunities for forward-thinking, creative and dedicated professionals. We are seeking enthusiastic practitioners who are:

  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
  • Committed to achieving the highest standards of teaching and learning.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a skilled and supportive team.
  • Energetic, adaptable and reflective in their practice.
  • Ambitious for both their students and their own professional development.

A commitment to securing excellent progress and outcomes for every student is essential, alongside strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management skills.

There may be an opportunity for a Head of Year role for the right candidate, offering additional leadership and pastoral responsibilities.

Osborne School is proud to be recognised by Ofsted as an Outstanding school. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of education and care, ensuring that every student is given the opportunity to thrive and succeed.

Join us and become part of a dedicated team making a real difference to the lives of young people every day.
