Job Introduction

Oakridge Schools Federation is a 3FE junior school federated with a 3FE infant and nursery on the same site. Located in the vibrant town of Basingstoke, Hampshire, the school boasts large grounds that provide a beautiful and engaging environment for our pupils.

We are seeking an exceptional class teacher to join our established and dedicated team at Oakridge Schools Federation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils and contribute to the continued success of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that promote a love of learning and intellectual curiosity
  • Differentiate teaching approaches to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs or high ability
  • Effectively use assessment to monitor progress, set targets, and plan subsequent lessons
  • Manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure a positive and safe learning environment
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, building positive relationships with colleagues and parents

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
  • Proven experience in successfully teaching primary-aged pupils

Desirable Qualities:

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
