Crofton Hammond Infant School is a two-form entry, infant school based in the Fareham area. We are a welcoming and inclusive school seeking to appoint a well organised, high quality class teacher to cover maternity leave). The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, a good team player and committed to helping children achieve their potential. Candidates must have a clear philosophy of how children learn best, have evidence of excellent practice and behaviour management along with a positive attitude and an understanding of child development.
The successful candidate will;
- Have up to date and recent knowledge and experience of EYFS.
- Have an excellent understanding of EYFS development and practice.
- Share our ethos, values and vision.
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all children.
- Have consistently good or better classroom practice.
- Be able to plan and deliver a curriculum that inspires, motivates and meets all children’s learning needs.
- Be calm, positive and an effective communicator with an ability to develop relationships with staff, pupils, parents/carers, governors and outside agencies.
- Be a flexible, hardworking individual who sees themselves as a learner, aspiring to excellence in themselves and others.
- Understand the importance of safeguarding.
