Cleaner (Part time)

Wootey Junior School is seeking to appoint a caring, friendly and hardworking cleaner. Situated on the edge of the town of Alton, Wootey Junior School is a happy, successful school where children and staff ‘Always seek the challenge’ in all that they do.
We are looking for cleaner to work 3.45pm- 6:00pm Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks per year), plus an additional two weeks during the school holidays for a deep clean. There may be some flexibility in the working hours.
Responsibilities include
- Cleaning classrooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sanitizing bathrooms and replenishing supplies
- Emptying rubbish bins and disposing of waste
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces
- Mopping and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning windows and mirrors
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, confident and capable, with a positive approach to their work. Cleaning experience preferred but not required as training can be provided.
