Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our friendly premises team.
We are looking for a cleaner to ensure our learning environment is kept clean, clear and maintained in accordance with COSHH and Health & safety regulations. The role will include cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors and shared areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment to work and learn.
The post will be for 15 hours a week from January 2025 (afternoons and mornings daily). There will be a requirement to work in both term-time and one week equivalent in school holiday periods when hours will be ‘blocked’ together to meet the deep cleaning requirements of the school.
- Role profile 02134 Grade A – Annual FTE salary £22,183 - £22,367 per annum pro-rata. Actual salary £8,993
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Carry out a range of defined cleaning duties within a specific area to a high
standard and in line with agreed procedures
• Respond to adhoc requests for cleaning specific areas
• Follow all school policies
• Practise health & safety policies applicable to this role
• Be able to meet the physical demands of the job
• Carry out risk assessments when moving furniture
• Treat all school matters as confidential.
• Support the values and ethos of the school where everyone is valued
