Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking person to join our friendly premises team.
We are looking for a cleaner to ensure our learning environment is kept clean, clear and maintained in accordance with COSHH and Health & safety regulations. The role will include cleaning classrooms, toilets, corridors and shared areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment to work and learn.
The post will be for 10 hours a week term time only (afternoons or mornings daily). There will be an opportunity to carry out up to three deep cleans during the school holidays for which additional payment will be made.
- Role profile 02134 Grade A – Annual FTE salary £23,473 - £23,657 per annum pro-rata. Actual salary £5,427
The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Carry out a range of defined cleaning duties within a specific area to a high
standard and in line with agreed procedures
• Respond to adhoc requests for cleaning specific areas
• Follow all school policies
• Practice health & safety policies applicable to this role
• Be able to meet the physical demands of the job
• Carry out risk assessments when moving furniture
• Treat all school matters as confidential.
• Support the values and ethos of the school where everyone is valued
