Are you reliable, hardworking and take pride in keeping spaces clean and safe?

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly site team at Nightingale Primary School. This is a vital role that helps ensure our children have a welcoming and hygienic learning environment every day.

Who are we looking for?

You will be someone who:

  • Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
  • Is naturally tidy and takes pride in their work
  • Has a good eye for detail
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Understands the importance of maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in a school setting
  • Is discreet, professional and respectful of the school community

 

Previous experience is desirable but not essential – training and support will be provided.

Main duties will include:

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and dusting
  • Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
  • Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
  • Reporting any damages or concerns to the Site Manager
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines and school procedures at all times
