We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cleaner to join our friendly site team at Nightingale Primary School. This is a vital role that helps ensure our children have a welcoming and hygienic learning environment every day.
Who are we looking for?
You will be someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Is naturally tidy and takes pride in their work
- Has a good eye for detail
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Understands the importance of maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in a school setting
- Is discreet, professional and respectful of the school community
Previous experience is desirable but not essential – training and support will be provided.
Main duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
- Emptying bins and managing waste disposal
- Reporting any damages or concerns to the Site Manager
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and school procedures at all times
