HLTA/Level 3 TA at Hazel Wood Infant School – 27.5 hours

                                                            Start Date: 1st September 2025 

Closing Date: Friday 20th June 2025 at 12:00 

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised and caring HLTA, or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly, dedicated and supportive team. The role will involve working across all the year groups from Year R to Year 2 to cover planned PPA, leadership release time and training, as well as providing on the day absence cover. You will be delivering lessons planned under the professional direction of a qualified teacher. At other times, you will be providing interventions to groups of pupils to support their learning. This makes for an exciting and varied timetable. The applicant should be an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant, or an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant.  

 

We are looking for an HLTA or Level 3 TA who: 

  • has experience of supporting children with their learning and development
  • has excellent communication skills, relating well to children, colleagues and parents
  • is reliable, resilient and an excellent team member
  • has the ability to independently deliver lessons to the whole class that have been planned by the class teacher
  • be flexible in covering classes as they may be requested last minute due to staff absence etc.
  • be confident in their understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
