The Governing Body of Medstead CofE Primary school is seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as Clerk to the Governing Board. This is a key administrative role, supporting the efficient functioning of the governing body, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

 

The successful candidate will provide a comprehensive  clerking support to the Board, working closely with the Headteacher and Chair of Governors. The clerk will advise the Board on all of it’s procedural and legal duties whilst ensuring accurate records of meetings are effectively maintained.

Essential Key Skills

  • Ability to take clear and accurate minutes
  • Ability to  maintain accurate records
  • Excellent literacy and IT skills
  • Awareness of the importance of confidentiality
  • Ability to workout supervision, meet deadlines, act proactively and be part of a team
