Job Introduction
Communication Support Worker for March 2026 (ideally)
31.25 hours per week (8.30 am to 3.30 pm term time only) – Days/hours could be negotiated for the right candidate!
Pay Scale C/D dependent on experience
to work with deaf children across the Infant and Junior age ranges.
We are looking for a candidate to join our expanding team that:
- Is able to develop good relationships with all pupils
- Has good signing skills or a willingness to train (BSL level 1 or above is desirable. If the qualification is not held, a willingness to train is essential)
- Is flexible and can support deaf pupils in the mainstream classes, small groups and in the Resourced Provision
- Is able to use their initiative, work as part of a strong and committed team as well as supporting teaching staff across the Infant and Junior age range
- Can effectively support pupils to access the curriculum.
