Job Introduction
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and approachable person who wants to make a difference and to help a child succeed and be the best that they can be.
The role will be predominantly class based in the mornings within a mainstream classroom, providing both whole class, small group and some individual support, as directed by the class teacher, to enhance children’s learning within a positive learning environment. Lunchtimes involve a half hour lunch duty, followed by focused small group and some one-to-one interventions, supported by both the year team and the school’s Inclusion Manager. Preference will be given to candidates with upper key stage 2 experience, or candidates with a good knowledge of the maths and English curriculum in Years 5 and 6.
Maths and English GCSE or equivalent is essential. An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning in School is desirable.

Hours of work: Monday - Friday 8.45am - 12.30pm, 1.00pm - 3.30pm term time only
Salary: Grade C (£18,195 - £18,960)
