Job/Person Summary 

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our developing Federation. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a safe and cared for environment for pupils to learn within. They will have an ability to act swiftly when rectification works are required, with both hands-on capabilities and suitable IT skills for recording and paperwork responsibilities.  

The successful applicant will need: 

  • Tomonitorcontractors toensurehigh standardsof cleanliness and operational effectiveness.
  • To manage andmaintainthe physical resources on site so thatoptimumuse can be made for them forFederationand community purposes.
  • Ensure site security ismaintainedthroughorganisingand monitoring arrangements for keyholding, locking and unlocking, controlling key accessibility.
  • Act as akeyholder. Review security procedures and make proposals forimprovementas necessary.
  • To be a good oral and written communicator.  
  • Obtain quotes and arrange site visits by contractors.
  • Act as Fire Safety Officer, withresponsibiltyfor site security and a range of Health & Safety checks and monitoring.
  • Manage andbe responsible forHealth and Safety, including risk assessments and COSHH.
  • Establish andmaintaina well-organisedand accessible system for site administration.
  • Prepare reports using web-based energy management platformsand suggest improvements asrequested.
  • Manage contractors on site, ensuring all health and safety requirements are adhered to.
  • Attend meetings, liaise with the senior leadership team and governingbodymembersregardingmaintenanceand developments fortheFederationsite.
  • Performancemanageother site staff,including trainingprogrammes.
  • Manage andmaintainrecords in line with HCC and legislativerequirementse.g.safety and personal records.
