Following the well-deserved promotion of our current post holder, we are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our successful Maths team as Deputy Director of Maths.  This is key role within the department, ideal for an ambitious and highly skilled Maths teacher ready to take the next step in their career.

The Role

As Deputy Director of Maths, you will:

  • Support the Director of Maths in leading teaching, learning and curriculum development across the department.

  • Be an outstanding classroom practitioner who models outstanding pedagogy.

  • Contribute to raising student outcomes through high expectations, innovative practice, and a relentless focus on quality first teaching. 

  • Play a key role in mentoring and supporting colleagues and shaping the culture of the team. 

About You

 We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an ambitious and reflective Maths teacher with a passion for the subject

  • Has a track record of excellent classroom practice and improving student outcomes. 

  • Is ready to take on additional leadership responsibility and contribute to the strategic direction of the department.

  • Enjoys working collaboratively and is eager to grow as a leader.
