Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo at Crondall Primary School - WMAT

Crondall Primary School, part of the highly regarded and sought after Weydon Multi Academy Trust, is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and confident leader to join their warm, inclusive village school as Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo. This opportunity has arisen due to the retirement of their current Deputy Headteacher.

The Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo will work closely with the Headteacher to lead the school strategically and operationally, with a focus on inclusion and high expectations for all.
Key responsibilities
- Champion high expectations and inclusion: Lead SEND provision, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive and achieve their best.
- Drive improvement: Raise the quality of teaching and learning, supporting the school to continually improve outcomes for all.
- Inspire and communicate our vision: Share and model the schools values, promoting consistency and positivity across teams.
- Develop people: Mentor and support staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and outstanding staff development.
- Lead by example: Be a positive role model, connecting with parents, external agencies and the wider community to strengthen their inclusive ethos.
- Strategic leadership: Support the Headteacher in managing staff, resources, timetables and gaining valuable experience in whole-school leadership.
- Monitor and evaluate: Use data analysis to monitor progress, evaluate standards, and report on attainment and teaching quality.
This role requires:
- An excellent primary practitioner with experience across the whole primary phase and a track record of outstanding teaching and leadership.
