Miss Polly’s, The Hurst Nursery (Employed by Hampshire County Council).
Role- Deputy Nursery Manager and Room–Co-ordinator. 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year. Hours negotiable for the right candidate. Also suitable for job share.
Start date – September 2026
Grade D - £27,780 per annum FTE
A minimum of 3 years Nursery experience and a Level 3 childcare qualification is essential for this role. Excellent knowledge of child development and early years foundation stage is essential for this role.
Previous Room Co-ordinator experience is preferable,
but we will consider experienced nursery practitioners who are ready to take on the next new and exciting challenge in their career.
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills who will build on the great foundation already in place and drive the Nursery forward. Candidates must have great communication skills, reliability and able to work using their own initiative, further personal specifications can be found in the job description.
Miss Polly’s is a thriving 67 place Nursery for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We have 3 rooms, a baby room, toddler room and a preschool room all with well-equipped gardens. The Nursery is based in the grounds of The Hurst Secondary School which it has strong links with.
