ECT Class Teacher

Job Introduction

The Federation of Trosnant Schools is looking to appoint an excellent ECT who would like to embark on their career as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team, on a fixed term contract for 1 year, from September, 2025. 

  • The position will be paid on the Main Pay Scale (M1)
  • The Key Stage placement of the position will be lower KS2
  • ECTs would be provided with mentoring support and be accredited by an appropriate body

 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated high quality teaching and effective behaviour management within the primary age range during their training. They will be working as a member of a supportive year group team.

We have experienced, trained mentors with much experience supporting ECTs. We also have a proven track record for giving ECTs a successful start to their career, as well as providing the necessary development to move on into middle leadership roles.

The Federation believes strongly in effective CPD, and there will be opportunities for the successful candidate to work with lead practitioners in school, and to develop their particular strengths and interests.
