Salary Details: B1 to B3 (£16,663 to £16,886) based on 30 hours. (FTE: £24,027 - £24,348)

Job/Person Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to join Endeavour Primary school as soon as mutually convenient. We are a large and still growing Primary School based across two Campuses (King and Kirk.)

We are a friendly and welcoming school who is looking to appoint an EYFS Learning Support Assistant who is passionate about supporting and developing children to ensure the best possible outcomes for them. We are looking for someone who is calm, resilient, fun and flexible in their approach to working in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

This post will be working in EYFS at King Campus.

The role will include:

  • To meet and greet the pupils and to support the transition into school.
  • To build a strong and trusting relationship with pupils so they feel happy and safe.
  • To support in delivering the EYFS curriculum through small group work and during provision
  • To support the enhancement of the EYFS classrooms to further learning 
  • To support pupils to build their emotional well-being, independence and resilience
  • Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
  • Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals, targets, appropriate to EYFS
  • Lunchtime & break time duties
