We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, well organised, high quality class teacher for an Early Years or Key Stage One Class.  (This job is suitable for an ECT). We are looking for someone with the energy, enthusiasm, drive and shared high expectations to continue providing our children with the best possible start in life.  The successful candidate must be a good team player and committed to helping children to be the best they can be.  Candidates must have a clear philosophy of how children learn best, have evidence of excellent practice and behaviour management along with a positive attitude and a thirst for learning.  We can offer you excellent support, professional challenge and a bright and welcoming environment.  

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a good understanding of EYFS/KS1 development and practice, ideally having worked within both age phases.
  • Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all children.
  • Has consistently good or better classroom practice with high expectations and a drive to raise standards.
  • Be passionate about delivering a purposeful curriculum that inspires, motivates and meets all children’s learning needs.
  • Be confident and competent using computing to support learning.
  • Be a flexible, hardworking individual who sees themselves as a learner, aspiring to excellence in themselves and others.
  • Be kind and caring as well as having a good sense of humour.
