Job Introduction
We are seeking a passionate, imaginative and creative main scale or early career teacher towork in our EYFS . We want our EYFS teachers to inspire wonder, ignite imagination andbuild life long learners.
Our Early Years provision balances child-initiated play with focused adult-led learning,ensuring that essential skills in early reading and writing are explicitly taught and reinforcedwithin engaging, purposeful activities. Effective communication and language developmentunderpins all areas of learning, enabling children to become confident speakers, listeners,readers and writers.
Alongside academic development, we prioritise the teaching of life skills that support children’s personal, social and emotional development. Independence, resilience, cooperation, problem-solving and emotional regulation are actively promoted through daily routines, play opportunities and real-life contexts, enabling children to develop confidence and positive relationships with others.
We recognise that every child is unique and that children develop at different rates. Ourapproach is inclusive and responsive, valuing each child’s interests, strengths and needs.We work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure continuity of learning and tosupport each child’s holistic development.
We are looking for a teacher who:
· Ensures all children feel safe, secure, valued and included
· Responds to individual needs and interests when planning learning
· Develops resilience and independence through the Characteristics of Effective Learning· Guides and challenges children through positive adult interactions
· Provides a balance of child-initiated and adult-led learning
· Delivers a broad, balanced and progressive curriculum· Places communication and language at the heart of learning· Creates a stimulating environment that supports exploration and creativity
· Builds strong partnerships with parents and carers
