Job Introduction

Job Opportunity – Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 minimum)

37 hours per week, Term Time Only.  A job share would be considered.

Fixed Term Contract until August 2027, with a possibility of extending depending on the needs of the children.
Scale C (£25,186 - £26,244 fte) pro rata to £21,543 - £22,448 per annum (pay award pending)

Bushy Leaze is more than a nursery. As an attachment and trauma-aware school with a dedicated SEND Hub and Family Support Team, we provide outstanding support for children, families and staff. We would love for you to join us and find out for yourself how much we care about our staff, children and families.

What You'll Bring:

  • A relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • At least one year's experience in an Early Years setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS.
  • A belief that children learn best through play.
  • A commitment to inclusion, safeguarding and partnership with families.
  • Excellent communication skills and a warm, approachable manner.
  • The ability to celebrate every child's unique learning journey.
  • A commitment to professional growth and teamwork.
  • Experience of supporting children with SEND would be advantageous. 

What You'll Do:

  • Act as a Key Person for a group of children.
  • Plan engaging learning experiences based on children's interests and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Support children's wellbeing, learning and development.
  • Contribute to observations, assessments and record keeping.
