We are seeking to appoint an experienced, confident, flexible, and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated school team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work across the school as needs arise. Our HLTAs work alongside teachers to support the learning of our pupils, deliver planned activities, and provide cover supervision during teacher absence. Your role will be key in ensuring continuity of learning and supporting the progress and wellbeing of all children.
We are looking for someone who:
- is experienced in working with primary-aged children
- is warm, friendly, and truly puts children first
- has the experience and confidence to cover whole classes when required
- has strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- has knowledge and experience of supporting children’s learning
- demonstrates initiative, creativity, and the ability to adapt learning to meet pupils’ needs
- has high expectations of themselves and others
- has excellent time management skills and is highly organised
- understands confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
- has a minimum of 5 GCSEs (A*–C), including English and Maths
- has HLTA status, or is an experienced LSA who is looking to take the next step in their career
