We’re proud to host two Resourced Provisions: one for Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and another for Autism. As part of a thriving federation with Pinewood Infant School, we offer exciting collaborative opportunities across all stages.
The Federation are looking for a skilled and experienced HLTA to join our team. The post will provide support and learning for children within the school and ensure that they enjoy, grow and succeed whilst on their educational school journey with us. You will be asked to cover classes across the school in your HLTA role.
The successful candidate(s) will
- Be trained to NVQ3 standard for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
- Meet the Higher Level Teaching Assistant Standards
- Demonstrate excellent literacy and numeracy skills, (GCSE Grades A-C in Maths & English).
- Implement learning activities based on their working knowledge of the national curriculum using relevant programmes and strategies that have they have adapted to meet the child’s needs.
- Have at least 2 year’s relevant experience in a teaching environment
- Have a well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with a variety of people.

- Can be professionally discrete and are able to respect confidentiality.
- Have the ability to think on your feet and be highly effective at using your initiative.
