Job Introduction
Are you an inspiring History specialist ready to lead a committed, high-performing Humanities team? Do you thrive in a close‑knit school community where every child is known as an individual?
We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Head of Humanities to join our small rural secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher and leader who is ready to shape the strategic direction of History, Geography and RE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
You will be a skilful classroom practitioner who brings History to life, raises aspirations, and models excellent teaching. You’ll also be an effective leader—capable of driving curriculum development, supporting colleagues, and ensuring strong outcomes for all learners.
If you want to make a real difference in a supportive rural school where staff well‑being, collaboration, and shared values matter, we would love to hear from you.
Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.
