From the Governing Body at Longparish CofE Primary School

We are seeking a progressive leader to inspire the next chapter of our wonderful school. 

Our school is set in a picturesque village setting, full of lovely children and has consistently achieved excellent results, but there are still plenty of opportunities for someone to challenge, inspire and build on the foundations they will inherit.

We would like our new Headteacher to have good experience in the primary sector which will see them bring opportunities that can continue to progress standards within our school. You will need to be able to demonstrate the right leadership qualities and strong management skills. We will, of course, make sure there is a full package of support available to you to help you grow into the role and thrive.

  • A candidate who will maintain and develop our Christian values and relationship with the Church.
  • Someone who will recognise the needs of every child and will strive for excellence through high quality, innovative teaching.
  • A passionate, experienced and ambitious educator, with the vision to clearly articulate the role that the Headteacher will take in further developing and improving our school.
  • Someone who will be supportive and motivational, yet challenging in their expectations.
  • An effective leader of learning, with experience of delivering a broad, rich and varied curriculum that meets the needs of every pupil. 
  • Someone with a genuine commitment to team working, distributed management and the development of all of our staff.
