We are a single form entry primary school with a large playing field, woodlands, nature & garden areas, hard surfaced playgrounds, hall and library. Our Foundation stage and Year 1 children enjoy their own dedicated outdoor area where they are able to develop their physical and social skills. Our children are curious, joyful and determined learners, supported by talented and dedicated staff who are deeply committed to the life and vision of the school.

  We are looking for a Headteacher who:

By utilising your senior primary leadership experience, deeply embedded commitment to safeguarding and well-being, you will create a positive, high-performing environment across the school where both staff and children can truly thrive.

• Is an inspiring educator at heart who will drive school improvement through an exciting curriculum and a strong understanding of high-quality teaching and SEND provision. Beyond the classroom, you will bring solid financial awareness, policy-shaping skills, and the ability to balance school progress with a healthy work-life balance for your team. As a confident communicator, you will excel at building trusting, robust relationships with parents, governors, and our local village and church, keeping our vibrant community at the very centre of our school.

Selection Procedure
The shortlist will be drawn up on 3rd September 2026 and the interview process will take place on the 21st and 22nd September 2026. Further details will be sent to those candidates called for interview. Applicants will be advised after the shortlisting date whether they have been successful.
