Job Introduction
We are looking for a strong and organised Higher Level Teaching Assistant who has high standards of work and continuously strives to improve their practices. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1170 students and are looking to expand our staffing further.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support and guidance to students. You will work predominately in the English Department providing both in class support and small group intervention. It will also include working with small numbers of students that work within our successful inclusion provisions.
You will be need to be calm, engaging, resilient, enjoy working as part of a team and be genuinely motivated by helping every child to reach their potential. We are looking for someone who can work with individual and small groups of children, leading literacy and language interventions and programmes as directed, and who can build relationships with pupils to promote interaction and learning.
