Micheldever C of E Primary School are looking for an HLTA to join our team. We are excited to offer this unique role which involves both working as a 1:1 support for one of our pupils and, as we have a growing number of GRT families joining the school, we are looking for someone with the right attitude and mindset who can support us, our families and children access the best possible educational experience. Our children are keen learners and the post will involve leading pupils in small groups and supporting class learning.
The 1:1 position will require working with the child in the classroom and when they attend a directed speech and language social skills group and occupational therapy, offering opportunities for skill progression and further CPD for the candidate. A calm, nurturing manner is needed with a good team work ethic, as you will work closely and collaboratively with the SENCo and class teacher to ensure the best schooling experience for our pupil.
We are part of the Dever Valley Federation which is a family orientated, caring Federation of Church Schools. We provide a nurturing, inclusive culture for our children, and develop the whole child. The role will be based at Micheldever CE Primary School.
