- Salary Details: Grade D, £27,780 - £30,564 FTE, (Actual Salary £22800 - £25085) depending on experience) Paid weeks 44.48
- Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, term time only, 35.5 hours per week, 8.00am – 4:00pm, with one hour for lunch, plus attendance at the staff meeting from 3.30-4.30pm weekly on a Wednesday.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant Assistants to join our fantastic school and work across all stages within the school.
The role will include working in classes across the school to cover PPA and times for teachers to be released for course and absences. The successful candidate will be well-supported by a skilled teaching team.
You will need to be enthusiastic, patient, well-organised and flexible. You must be able to communicate with children and adults well, show initiative and understand of the importance of safety and safeguarding.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a relevant HLTA qualification
- Has good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent)
- Has an ability to use ICT effectively to support learning
- Has an empathetic understanding of children’s emotions and behaviour and actively seeks to remove barriers to learning
- Has a ‘can do’ attitude with high aspirations for themselves and children
- Is resilient, flexible and resourceful
- Has good behaviour management skills
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Communicate positively with children and other adults
- Enjoy working with children and small teams of adults
- Be a good time keeper
- Support children within the whole class setting and in small group work
- Be reliable and consistent in promoting good behaviour and the values of the school
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times
- Has a sense of humour
- Hold a First Aid certificate or be willing to take the training to obtain this
