Home/School Tutor and Key Worker

For January 2026

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and flexible Home/School Tutor and Key Worker to join our team at Harrow Way Community School supporting some of our most vulnerable pupils in bridging the gap between home and school. This unique role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, emotionally and socially.


Required skills:

  • Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged secondary-aged students.

  • Knowledge of the KS3 curriculum, particularly in core subjects.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with young people and families.

  • A flexible, empathetic and patient approach to behaviour and engagement.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
