Job Introduction
The Federation of Liphook Infant School and Liphook Church of England Junior School are seeking to appoint a learning support assistant to join our happy and hardworking team. This role will be based at Liphook Infant School, working 27 hours and 30 minutes per week in class plus 5 hours as a breakfast supervisory assistant plus 2 hours and 30 minutes as a lunchtime supervisory assistant.
We are looking for someone who:

- is able to work closely with class teachers to develop pupils academic and social skills
- is patient, flexible and motivated
- is a team player
- is able to work independently and has initiative
- has excellent literacy and numeracy skills
This permanent position will start in May 2025, as soon as safeguarding checks have been completed. Working hours are from 7:45am until 3:15pm, Monday to Friday.
A Level 2 or 3 in ‘Teaching and Learning Support’ or similar is an advantage, alongside previous experience, although not essential. The Learning Support salary will be on Scale B or C grade depending on experience. £24027-£25430 FTE (pay award pending). You will be required to work 40 weeks (pro rata), 39 during term time with the additional work being made up as agreed with the SENCo (Special Needs Coordinator). You will be paid for 45.62 weeks per year (pro rata) which includes holiday pay and your salary will be paid monthly.
