Job Introduction
Do you have experience working with a child on a 1:1 basis?
We have a vacancy for a part time 1:1 teaching assistant to work closely with a vulnerable child in KS1.
We have an inclusive ethos of ‘Nurture, Inspire, Challenge’ which underpins everything we do. We are looking for an organised and empathetic LSA to join our caring and experienced team. The role will be class based and would suit someone keen to work closely with 1 child to support their development academically and socially. The role will also include a 30 minute lunchtime post, with a half an hour break for lunch.
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience of working in a Key Stage 1 or EYFS environment, preferably supporting a child/children with additional needs
- has excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills,
- is professionally discreet and able to respect confidentiality.
- enjoys working alongside the class teacher, supporting children to develop through small steps
- is flexible and a team player.
