Job/Person Summary
We are seeking a teacher who is passionate about delivering high quality outcomes for pupils with SEND. This role would focus on supporting a child with autism and severe global delay who needs specialist provision and care.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- is passionate about supporting children who have communication barriers and severe learning needs
- can use their initiative and is creative
- can adapt to the needs of the child and support their well being
- can take on board advice from outside agencies and put strategies into practice
- is resilient and patient
- has used PECS or Makaton to support communication (training available if needed)
- is committed to work with parents to raise standards
- will provide intimate care under the guidance of a care plan
