Rucstall Primary School

Rucstall Primary School is a warm, inclusive, and vibrant one-form entry primary school situated in the quiet Black Dam area of Basingstoke. We serve a diverse and multicultural community and take great pride in being a welcoming school where individuality is respected, differences are celebrated, and every child is valued. Children are at the centre of everything we do, and our pupils enjoy coming to school, achieve highly, and take pride in their learning and achievements.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection judged the school to be Outstanding in all areas. Inspectors recognised Rucstall as a happy, inclusive school where pupils flourish both academically and personally. Behaviour was identified as a particular strength, with pupils demonstrating exemplary conduct, positive attitudes to learning, and strong relationships with both staff and peers. Classrooms were described as calm, purposeful environments where children are fully engaged and able to thrive.
