Job/Person Summary
We are looking to appoint an experienced, Learning Support Assistant to work Monday to Friday 12pm to 3.30pm, who is able to work with a pupil in KS2 on a 1:1 basis for targeted support throughout the afternoon. Ideally candidates will have experience of working in school or similar settings working with children. This post also involves a lunch time cover for a class.
The successful candidate will:
- Ideally have experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs in an education setting.
- Be able to form strong positive relationships with adults and children.
- Be patient, calm, resilient and enthusiastic.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have good behaviour management skills including use of PACE.
