Job Introduction
We are seeking a teacher with Key Stage 1 experience and expertise to join our very successful large primary school in January 2025. We have 625 fantastic pupils who thrive as a result of our rich and exciting curriculum. We have a deeply embedded ‘School Witihin a Garden’ ethos. Our grounds are amazing, and we probably have unrivalled creative facilities to match, including, a teaching kitchen, an art studio, a recording studio and a drama studio. This is an environment where talented and hard-working professionals can make an incredible contribution.
If you have secure subject and pedagogical knowledge, especially in the teaching of phonics and early reading, then we are keen to hear from you. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a clear commitment to their own professional development, and be an unrelenting team player with positive outlook. You will be inclusive and have a realistic understanding of rising needs in education, as well as the personal resilience to embrace these challenges.
In posting this advert, we fully understand that existing practitioners may not be available until the summer term of 2025. We will hold open this possibility for an exceptional or very strong candidate.
This post is initially being offered on a fixed-term basis. However, a discussion with the headteacher is highly recommended combined with a visit to see Berrywood in action.
