The Role
East Meon C of E Primary is looking for two dedicated and inspiring 1-1 Learning Support Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will create a safe, engaging and structured environment that allows children to access the curriculum, develop their communication skills and support them to self- regulate.
We are a progressive, inclusive and welcoming small, village school set in the unique South Downs countryside, that believes in high standards- not just for our pupils, but for the bespoke support we provide them. Essential Criteria:
Exceptional patience and the ability to remain calm and regulated under pressure.
A proactive "can-do" attitude with a focus on inclusive practice.
Desirable Criteria:
Previous experience in an educational setting.
Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare
CPD offer
Training in sensory processing,
de-escalation techniques
team teach approaches
